God's Gifts

Can I just say that I had an amazingly blessed weekend with these ladies in Folly Beach. (not everyone could be there and we missed you!) It was a weekend of anointed teaching, fellowship, growth, and revelation. These ladies are from my bible study group that meets every Wednesday. We are all seeking Christ and to be more like him everyday. It is such an awesome experience to walk and grow with these ladies during this season. God certainly blessed this weekend and showed up in each of our lives in different ways. I am so thankful for Kelly who was willing to come and teach God's word to us and be a part of this weekend and for Brooke who put it all together. Kelly opened our eyes to what it looks like to know who you are as a woman in Christ and also how we can grow in our relationship with him. There were so many questions and thoughts to ponder after the weekend. I want to leave you with today's verse and questions that Kelly gave us that I really liked, maybe they will help you too.

Luke 7: 48-49
Then Jesus said to the woman. "Your sins are forgiven." The men at the table said among themselves, "Who does this man think he is, going around forgiving sins?" And Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace.

1. What do the words go in peace say to you?
2. What is Satan using to stop your going or to bottle up your peace?
3. What specific changes do you think God wants you to make?
4. What distractions do you need to lose?
5. What does the Lord want you to keep doing?
6. What does the Lord want you to start doing?

Jesus said your sins are forgiven, go in peace. We talked about how the word go means to walk forward, don't look back. When we focus on these questions and apply them, it can really deepen your walk with Christ. There was so much more but this was one of my favorites from the weekend.
Thank you Lord not only for these girls and this weekend but using it to strengthen my desire to know you more and not to just believe in you and walk through the motions but to really seek your face.
